Program 1 of 3
Disaster Risk Reduction
AAP works in Southern Punjab — one of Pakistan's most flood-prone regions — to build community resilience before, during, and after disasters. Through early warning systems, community preparedness drills, emergency stockpiling, and infrastructure rehabilitation, we ensure that vulnerable families are not caught off guard when the waters rise. Our DRR teams train Community Disaster Risk Management Committees (CDRMCs) in each target village, empowering local leaders to respond fast and effectively.

Livelihood & Health
Poverty is not just a lack of income — it is a lack of options. AAP's Livelihood & Health programme creates sustainable pathways out of poverty for women and marginalized families through vocational training, microfinance linkages, and mobile health clinics that reach the most remote communities. Our mobile health units visit target communities bi-weekly, providing maternal health checks, vaccinations, and nutrition counselling. Vocational centres run 3-month training programmes in tailoring, beauty therapy, food processing, and basic IT skills.

Participatory Human Rights
Rights are meaningless if people don't know they have them. AAP's Participatory Human Rights programme ensures that communities — especially women, labourers, and minorities — understand their legal rights and have the tools to demand them. We run legal aid clinics, worker rights workshops, civic education sessions, and advocacy campaigns at district and provincial levels. Our paralegal teams help individuals navigate the justice system.
